Alt Vault

New widget out… The Alt Vault.
Basically, Alt Vault lets you use an Avatar as a bank.
Perfect for people who juggle cash around among various alts.
Also good for partnership - set up an alt as the bank, use the Alt Vault to withdraw. You can also pay into Alt Vault to deposit - you may find this more convenient than using Profile-> Pay interface.
I think my favourite part is you embed it in a wall like a wall safe, and when you touch it it flip around to you see the keypad. Otherwise it is just any old picture.

Welcome to the AltVault!
Basically, AltVault lets you use a single avatar as a bank.
Perfect for people who juggle cash around among various alts.
AltVault is also good for partnership or groups - set up one alt as a ?bank avatar,? and use the AltVault to withdraw funds. You can also make deposits into AltVault - you may find this more convenient than using the Profile->Pay interface.
AltVault is secure, as it only responds and listens to its owner and those on the approved list you create (see below).
Embed AltVault in a wall (like wall safe) or change it to look like whatever you like.

HOW TO SET UP

Inside the AltVault is a Users Notecard.
Type the name of each user who is allowed to withdraw money.
1 name per line.

Once you have entered all the names, touch the device to start.
Embed AltVault in a wall (like wall safe) or change it to look like whatever you like.
When you place AltVault, position it so the keypad faces outward (the picture should be in the wall). Once you start the AltVault, it will flip around.

HOW TO USE

Once the device is set up, anyone listed on the Users Notecard can just walk up to the device and touch it.
The object will tell you what channel to speak on.
On whatever channel AltVault tells you, say:
/222withdraw 3000
/222 <- the AltVault will tell you what number to use. This is for example.
3000 <- Can be any amount (as long as you have enough in the bank avatar?s account).

You can change the image to whatever artwork, image or texture you like. Just select texture and change.
For a cool effect, make it look like any other wall tile. When you touch AltVault, it will spin around.
