Builder’s Eye

Hey all…
so I’m pretty excited about my new widget. Nothing too fancy, but still very cool.
It’s a new movement tool, which happens to have a nice side effect of making large building easier.
So I’m trying something different, and decided to release it here first - feel free to pass by Games 1 - Near the base of the elevator.

NEW BUILD TOOL!
MOVE YOUR AVATAR USING CAMERA CONTROLS WITHOUT LOSING SELECTION!
Don’t you hate when you are working on a large build, and would like to select all pieces, only to find yourself out of range of that last piece? And as soon as you attempt to move your avatar into range - POOF! - you lose the selection.
Well, no more…
BUILDER’S EYE is a new movement tool that makes large building easy. With this tool, you can navigate around a build while objects are selected SIMULTANEOUSLY. As long as you know how to work the camera, you can move with this system.
Just sit on Builder’s Eye, and touch it to begin. That’s it! Now your avatar will move wherever you look. It’s just that simple.

Builder’s Eye allows you to move your avatar using camera controls. This means:
* While building, you can move your viewing angle WITHOUT LOSING YOUR SELECTION (macro-builders, you know what I mean).
* Builder’s Eye is GREAT for building at high altitudes. Move your avatar with camera precision!
* There is a HANDS FREE mode. Let the camera do the walking…
- Alt-Click on an avatar (or anything really) to lock camera, and PRESTO, your av will follow!
- Lead TOURS with this tool. People see exactly where you are looking, and they can follow along easier.
- Ensure your PRIVACY. Make it required on your land, and you’ll always know where your guests are looking.

HOW TO SET UP

To use for move your avatar with the camera angle, just sit on Builder’s Eye and touch it to activate.
To show other people where you are looking, just rez Builder’s Eye, and touch it to activate.
To turn Builder’s Eye off, just touch or delete it.
