Some people asked me about translators a few months ago. Can’t find your Av names, so hope you see this.
*Note - seems to be some problem with XML-RPC from time to time with SL. If it doesn’t work, try a bit later*

Wanna Help?
- Need someone to write better documentation. Also, would like to provide instructions in other languages (would be handy, yes?)
- Need someone who actually types in Japanese or Korean in SL to help test those languages, and try to troubleshoot it. For all I know, it already works - Im not setup for Jap/Kor on my system.
- A better looking HUD. Got an idea for a Design? Better looking Icons? Let me know.
- Scripters who would like to help make it better. Someone with language experience in or out of SL would be handy - As I mention, I want to get Non-Western charsets working.
- Support Names - People willing to help others who may be having trouble using the device.

About
Babbler is something I started a while ago [http://www.maxcase.info/?p=379](in My Day you spoke to objects dammit! none of this new fangled HUD business). It worked, but was less-than-user friendly, so I never moved it out to general circulation.
I finally found the inclination and time to revisit it, and the new one works much better, and may even scale :).
I scrape Google for the translations.

I love the babbler! It is excellent and has enabled me to chat with people from all other the world.
I think that the Babbler can have an additional use-on tonights American Inventor show there is a guy-Christopher who is deaf and is trying to make a handheld device that can hear the spoken language and then he can respond to the person by typing into it. SO the hearing person can read and understand the deaf person!
Imagine if the babbler was part of that device! What a great use for the babbler–imagine now a deaf person can be understood in different languages!
