Well, it's finally ready for a general release. Babbler, my simple language translator for SL.
Languages it does, eng, spanish, french, italian, portuguese, german, japanese and chinese.
I've decided to release without Korean or Arabic, since those don't seem to be coming in proper for me.
Also with the release, comes the ability to pass a copy to anyone around you, just by pushing the Gift button.
I’ve much simplified the ui, i think. Decided to automate more of it, basically less clicking to start translating. Everything from the earlier version, using http now, so much faster. I’m a bit dissappointed at lack of korean, but maybe it’s just a mac thing. But I find I hate working on the pc these days.

Thank you so much for this tool! I’d love to help with cleaning up the instructions, and localizing it to other languages.
I’d like to see a Question Mark ? icon in the interface to pull up a quick start guide that could be localized for several languages, to make it easier to get people started once they get their “gift” Babbler.

I love Babbler Max, it is such a useful tool. I use the gift tool all the time.

Hi Max,
for mistake i have deleted from my intory the babbler and de-babbler.
If i touch again your distributor nothing happens, there is a message that says :”Distro is currently down”.
Could you help me?

I have to agree with icecraem. How dare you put effort into a language translator and then give it freely to the community if you can’t provide support for all the languages in all the world?
I mean, there are only, what 6,912 known languages! Sure, the world’s leading translation software company can only provide support for about a dozen of the most commonly-used languages, but how long could it possibly take to add nearly seven thousand others? Five, ten minutes max, I’m sure.
I demand that you stop distributing this incredibly useful free tool that promotes global community until you can take a few minutes to script up translation software that will convert African click languages to Minangkabau!
