Sim Neighbours Update

neighbours has been updated.
New HUD device that brings the functionality of the neighbours site into second life. Now with compass. It looks the same as before. To unlock new abilities, just /99 advanced and you have an instant compass and what not. [can you tell? I really like the built in compass - rotations always make my head hurt - dunno why - so getting it working was nice.] Now with built in gift function, so pass it on please. Need more people gathering info.
[update: oops - Just realized the new beacons use llInstantMessage - I changed that to owner say, so you won’t get msgs from it offline -if you use beacons, go collect a new one.]
Also, ran some selects on the SimsDB today:

You can visit random sims by touching the button that appears on your screen. It’s a fun way to explore.
What is it? Something used to track sim hosts. See who shares the same hardware as you. Check http://neighbours.maxcase.info for more info.
** WHAT’S NEW!!!
-You can now check your sim neighbours from within SL. No need to visit the website (http://neighbours.maxcase.info), although the website has more detailed info.
-Compass: the little Red Arrow around the main button points north when in advanced mode.
Say
/99 advanced
to see the advanced HUD options. Say
/99 simple
to go back to the old style.
Once you see the advanced interface, you have some new choices:
Big center button : Still gives you a random sim to visit.
Yellow button : Find neighbours - This will give you a list of your sim neighbours - same as if you went to the Sim Neighbours site.
Green button : Teleport to one of the neighbour sims found when you pushed the Yellow button.
Blue button : Give a copy of the Registrator-Tron to a friend standing near you.
*Compass- the little Red Arrow around the main button points north.
***BEACON
To keep a sim always up to date, use the Beacon object packaged inside this device. It will check every hour and keep your info fresh.

I like the new gift function a bunch. (Although I’m ashamed to admit that I haven’t played with the advanced features yet.)
PS Good Golly, that’s a lot of sims.
