My ITE Babbler Booth
on Thursday, April 19th, 2007 at 9:40 pm Just released Babbler3 into the wild, which combines babbler & de-babbler into one unit. There’s now some simple usage videos. I’ll work on making better ones.
The picture is of my booth at the ITE. Come drop by over the weekend. [update] there’s some people’s choice vote there. So, if you a fan of the Babbler, come vote for it! :D

Would you please make the babbler get a back translation (from the first translation, back into the sender’s native language) and offer it on a blue menu window with “Ok” and “Cancel” buttons so that we can reject phrases which do not survive back translation with their intelligibility intact? I think this would be a huge improvement.

Hmm. I’ve been thinking about adding some stuff as an advanced mode. Maybe I can work in something like that, that you would have to turn on.
If I understand, you want to translate, then translate back to your language? It might be a bit impractical though. Maybe email me, and can discuss exactly what you are wanting to do?
