babbler back

Using curl now, so hopefully that will help deal with some problems where pipes’ hangs, which would lead all my babbler processes to back up, which caused the recent kabooms. Let me know if you have any weirdness or problems. Error reports do help.
In a cruel twist of fate (ok, maybe not) it turns out old copies of babbler(v2) were working fine throughout the outage, since I never disabled them. Just sort of figured I would let it tail off. So save those old versions! Never know when they can come in handy.

i tried the babbler tonight (monday may 28) and it wouldn’t translate.. the one i tried to talk to had the same problem..
I wonder why it isn’t working.. can you help me out? or is it an SL problem?

thanks for the report. Seems pipes are clogged at least on my end as well. Give it a few hours, i’m sure it will be back to normal.

I’m sorry, but is still isn’t working :( we found a way through a translation site though but that isn’t great either :P

am of Brazil and I say to Portuguese translated into the English and use babler in the SL and have problems with babbler, of times it this not recognizing the codigos of writing, not accepted punctuation and nor other simbolos, As I modify the code of the writing?

@fernanndo - i’m not sure what you are asking, but as far as i know, portuguese works. Just make sure you type and spell properly.

This is a general question about Babbler3. Is there a way to change the translated text color? The color it is now is extremely hard to read. It would be great if I could adjust the color that I can read.

Hi billie - chat colour of objects is a SL preference you can set in your preferences. belive me, i wish we could change chat colours via scripts.

personally I love the Babbler but it translates incorrectly..:-(…I use different phrasing from normal to proper english still the translations turn incorrect..
